yo! just came back from sc hool and had a bath and changed already. band today was not that bad. seriously! we had a band exchange at st margrets w/ st margrets[duh...]. they are better than us. i wont go to the extreme and say that they are way better than us cuz they're not.
woodwind section has tone but no style and sence of tempo. they're always so slow and out of beat. i dont even think they look at the conductor[leonard tan] when he is contucting[duh. if not conducting then what?].
brass section were really soft. so extremely soft that trumpet solos and solis need you to strain your ears to hear. but maybe we sounded like that to them too because we did not have the exchange/practise on a rise[platform(one for each row)].
their choice piece was not that bad. the beginning tempo is just a little too fast. very little only. but overall the song was nice. i wouldnt mind playing sometime.
but i think our choice piece is nicer. even though we've been playing it for 3 years...
the school is nuts. thats all ive got to say. they expect us to be able to bring all our books home when they just told us today that we need to clear our desks. siao lah! obviously i did not bring all home. only the homework.
*lol* my pri 4 bro just got yelled at by my pri 1 bro. apparently pri 4 wore pri 1's PE shorts to school. they wear the same size see? pri 4 is really skinny see?
